This is the image from an antique wax seal stamp from the 1700's. These were used to seal letters and correspondence and come is a huge veriety of designs, mottos, sentiments, heraldry and proverbs...
This will come with an explanation card that has the following information.
This seal features the image a pair of scimitars and a crescent.
In heraldry the sword is a symbol of liberty and strength. The crescent is a symbol of the hope of great glory and virtue
The Latin around the edges states “labour ipse voluptas”. This translates as “labour is itself pleasurable”. Or “work is its own reward.
“When you love your job you will never work another day in your life”.
“Do what you love and love what you do”
for those who are living their best lives... for hustling and loving the hustle.

Wax Seal Jewelry......
Each piece offered for sale is an imprint or cast of an antique wax seal from my personal collection. I use 100% sterling silver as this has the strength and durability needed for a piece of jewelry that is to be worn for years. All the jumps rings, clasps etc, are also sterling silver and each part is soldered, also for strength and durability. My intention is to make a piece that could become an heirloom too and for it to last generations.
Each piece is individually handmade and therefore no two pieces will be exactly the same, they will however be extremely similar. The mark of the maker has been purposely left on the casts. The signs of age, cracks and tool marks all add to the charm of the piece and are an intentional feature.
