This is an impression of an antique wax letter seal which dates from the early 1800's.
It features the image of a raven and the Latin motto 'Deus Providebit'. This translates to 'God Provides'. and refers to the passage the bible: Luke 12:24
"Consider the Ravens: they do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable are you than birds"
This amulet is a large one and it measures 35mm long including the bail ring and 25mm across. it weighs a solid 15 grams of sterling silver.
You have a choice of buying the amulet on its own or you can choose the length of sterling silver chain to hang it on.
This seal impression will come with an explanation card and an organic cotton bag.
