This is an impression of an antique wax letter seal which dates from the early 1800's.
It features an heraldic shield with the Latin words ‘Mali Mori quam foedari’. This translates to ‘death before dishonour’, or
‘I would rather die than loose my honour’.
This amulet is a large one and it measures 25.5mm across.
You have a choice of buying the amulet on its own or you can choose the length of sterling silver chain to hang it on.
This seal impression will come with an explanation card and an organic cotton bag.
