This is an impression of an antique wax letter seal. It dates from the 1800's and would have been used to seal letters and correspondence.
This seal features the image of The Three Graces. In Greek mythology The Three Graces or 'Charites' represented Charm, Beauty and Creativity. They were regarded as the inspirers of the qualities that gives attractiveness to wisdom, love, culture and social interactions. The names of The Three Graces were Aglaia, Thalia, and Euphrosyne.
Cast in 9 carat gold this amulet is detailed and glows a lovely buttery colour. it measures 30mm x 19mm and weighs 5.4 grams
It is stamped 9k on the back as well as SWALK.
