Do not despair.... nil desperandum.
This is an impression of an antique wax letter seal. It dates from the 1820's (200 years old). It features the Latin words 'Nil Desperandum'.
This translates to 'Do Not Despair'. This impression was made using sterling silver. The centre of this stamp was blank so I added a beautiful glowing period (4.8mm) and set it in warm yellow 18kt gold bezel.
The pendant is hung on a yellow gold 9ct jumping.
This pendant measures 21.55mm across the diameter. The back is stamped with SWALK and .925 and 18kt.
You can choose the length of chain you would like at no extra cost. The chain supplied with this 1.4mm. If you would like a heavier chain please let me know and I will price it up for you.
This pendant was oxidised to darken the silver and then hand polished to highlight the raised words.
