This pendant was cast from an antique wax seal stamp from the 1800's. These were used to seal letters and correspondence and come is a huge variety of designs, mottos, sentiments, heraldry and proverbs... This seals features the image of a half angel, half harp. The seal has the words 'Erin go Bragh" around the edge. . The words 'Erin go Bragh' is the anglicization of the Irish phrase Erin go Brach, which is most often translated to 'Ireland Forever'. It is used to express allegiance to Ireland and is still used today at GAA matches (Irelands national sport.) Therefore it is a perfect emblem to wear for St. Patricks day... as a gift for someone who is emigrating or for one of the many Irish Diaspora around the world. This seal measures approx. 12mm across (these are all hand made individually so this may vary slightly) The length of the bracelet is up to you and can be chosen from the drop down menu at checkout. The bracelet closes with a lovely teardrop lobster clasp.
