This is an impression of an antique wax letter seal which dates from the early 1800's. It is a wonderful crisp seal and the largest one in my shop! It features the Latin motto ' possunt quia posse videntur'
This is a quote from the famous Roman poet Virgil (70bc- 19bc). It translates to 'They can because they think they can'. This means that if you believe in yourself and have confidence in your abilities you can achieve anything... That in order to succeed, first you must believe you can succeed.
The image on the crest is that of a rampant lion. In heraldry lions are symbols of courage and are said to have a noble nature. The the complete message is you must have courage and believe in yourself. Any questions? Please contact me.
