This is a super heavy sterling silver oval belcher chain. The links are a square oval and are nice and solid. I have closed this chain with a 21mm sterling silver Albert clasp and an oval sprung clasp with which you can slip your charms/amulets/pendants on and off.
This chain is heavy and will be a real work horse in your jewellery box. Wear it on its own or attach your pieces to the oval clasp for a stunning statement.
There is nothing feminine or delicate about this piece and can be worn by anyone. It is an ageless, timeless piece that is sure to be a future heirloom.
Each link in the chain measures a respectable 5.2mm x 9.3mm are are solid (not hollow).
The Albert clasp is 21mm long
The oval clasp measures 22.4X11.4MM
You can choose what length you want your chain to be and I will cut it to order. The Albert clasp and the oval spring clasp are then soldered (for security) with heavy jumprings. The piece is then oxidised for a darker more antique look, and then thoroughly hand polished and buffed so it gleams like new chain should. (you can also order this chain in bright new silver.)
There is a small sterling tag attached to the chain that has my shop name ‘swalk’ stamped on it so you know you are getting the highest quality sterling silver chain on the market.
